Point Lobos Landscape Photography Workshop Saturday February 1st, 2020

Weston Beach Sunset: A beautiful way to end the workshop. The setting sun created a stunning backdrop for the rugged coastline and pounding waves.

Here is your chance to photograph California’s rugged and beautiful coastline. At Point Lobos windswept shores, rocks, crashing waves and mystical forests make for memorable photographic experiences

Spend the day photographing and exploring the spectacular Carmel Coastline with professional photographer and outdoor guide, Paul Dileanis. During this workshop you will learn essential techniques for getting the most out of your landscape and outdoor photography.

  • Learn professional techniques for digital exposure
  • Choosing the correct lens to enhance composition
  • Tips for planning landscape and wildlife photography excursions
  • Use neutral density filters to blur water motion
  • Use graduated neutral density filters to balance the exposure
  • How to get the correct exposure
  • Composition techniques

Workshops are kept small (maximum 8) to assure individual guidance.

Skill Level Required: Beginning to advanced photographers

 – To get the most out of this experience an understanding of your basic camera operations is needed. * I recommend taking the Photo 101 Class prior to attending an outdoor workshop if you are not familiar with the basic operation of your camera.

**Physical Requirements: Some light hiking may be involved. Be prepared to walk up to 1 mile with your camera gear on moderate terrain.
