In this comprehensive one day workshop you will learn the essentials of digital SLR photography.
The workshop begins with a 2 hour class room session and ends with an afternoon of photography on California’s beautiful San Mateo coast.

Beginning Digital SLR
This 2 hour workshop is for digital-SLR owners and photographers making the transition from film to digital.
In this workshop you will learn the fundamentals of digital SLR photography and gain knowledge of professional techniques for creating inspiring images. The overall goal of this workshop is to learn to enjoy photography through understanding of basic camera functions and fundamental photographic principles.
Topics covered include:
Essential camera functions – Aperture and depth of field – Shutter speeds and controlling motion – Metering and using exposure modes – Resolution, ISO and white balance – Camera accessories – Basic composition techniques – Using your camera manually
Classes are one evening for 2 hours – 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Cost is $ 75.00
